Program crash

Any reason why the program should crash? I sometimes get a warning to note my last steps taken and then it's goodbye!
Usually it saves my work, but today I lost 2 sections worth of names and scores! Is there anything I can do to make sure I do not lose my work in future? Anybody else having similar problems?

Fortunately this is not common but if it does happen please advise as requested. What were you doing when it happened? What had you done? Turn on "Auto save" to stop loss of work.

Sorry the last service pack (or two...) was faulty.
The program module ase007.exe, found in the directory where ASE8 is installed, was not included in the SP.
If you feel confident replace it with the attached until the next SP is posted.

The latest service pack and full release have resolved this problem.
