during a practise bidding session a following hand came along.

Weird hand to have after three passes.
Reasonable opening bids seem to be 2H or 4H. The latter is much safer than it looks, since the other players are probably fairly balanced - doubles and multiple undertricks are unlikely. 2H (presumably about 10-13) is an attempt at a constructive auction, with 3C in reserve if somebody bids 2S.
I don't think pass is right - if the opponents had some shape and a big spade fit, somebody probably would have opened something. And their spades aren't breaking very well. This is probably our hand.

someone here made a mistake in passing with some spades and some high cards. Even though partner was in 2nd chair, I'm hoping it was one of the opps: 4H
