Could anyone advise the best way to handle the following situation using Bridgemate:
We have a session with 12.5 tables, so we put out two boards on each table for 13x2 board rounds. One player is known to be running late, and ten minutes after the game has started, we get a call to say she can't make it. So her partner goes home and now we have only 12 tables (only 24 boards).
So we need to put an extra board on each table. Table 1 is now playing boards 1-2-25, table 2 is playing 3-4-26, etc. This information is submitted to the Bridgemate, but the tabletop boxes only store parameters for the first and last board -- in other words, if the board numbers are 1, 2 and 25, the boxes read that as 1-25, and expect all 25 boards to be played in the round.
Is there a way to get around this problem?
Thanks,
brad
