Auto Handicap

The help file for "Entering Session Names" refers to an option for Auto Calculation of Handicaps - ie

[Auto handicap] [F8]. Selecting this option will turn the function on or off, shown by a tick next to the item. When this option ticked, each pair's handicap is automatically calculated and shown in the handicap field to the right of the names.

This option does not appear when Options are selected - only Add Player, Event Pairs, Auto Page Down and Advanced are listed. We have updated to SP 26.

The Capablilities section of the ASE Web Site quotes that the program
Automatically maintains player handicaps, and produces seeded fields.

Can you expand on how this is done please?

You mean the handicap field is not visible at those times. True, only the fields being entered appear.
This option is not SP related.

No, what I mean is that the F8 option is not available for selection when Option is selected from the menu for the Update Names Screen.
