Hi Ian,
I use excel for most of my reports in major multi session championships. How do I create a csv (excel) report to show just the pair numbers and each pairs' session score?
Regards,
Fearghal.
:)
The simplest way to make a csv excel file is to create a report with just the items you require in the file.
In this case just pair number and total for the session.
Go into the report designed and remove header and footer from the report.
No titles on the fields and no underline.
See the example report I made attached here.
Also when using the report, select "printer" as the destination, then tick "print to file" and select "Excel file" as the type. Name the file as you want and click OK.
An example of the result is also in the attached zip file.
With manual "report select" ticked, right click the [session] report button and choose [open] and open the rpt file.
A report and excel file with headers are also included.
