Hi,
One of the obvious missing niceties missing from Ase8 using Bridgemates, is the ability to have a live scrolling running score, updating itself automatically every 15 seconds or so?
Obviously, this live scrolling display, would need to have a header telling us how many boards are still missing (or even a % complete display).
Any chance Ian?
Regards,
Fearghal.

Fearghal,
I am not entirely sure what displays you want and who they are intended for.
Clearly you cannot have a board display that the players can see while they are playing them.
ASE already display % processed for the session.
If it is session/round results then to refresh frequently is not that essential for the players. Once every 5 minutes would be sufficient.
This can be done manually.
Press F6 score, then select ignore scores missing (as they clearly will be).
Select the session report of your chioce destination screen.
Resize report display screen, using the smaller or medium size displays on the top left hand side of the screen. If you have two monitors move that screen to the public display monitor.
Then once every 5 minutes (or when you like) press F6.
ASE rescores, and refreshes the display.
You can do similar with board reports and any others.

Hi Ian,
The display I have in mind takes the form of a leaderboard showing the leading pairs after so many boards. It needs to be updated every 15 seconds especially in the final round of an event. I am awre that pressing F6 will do this but during the final round of a competition the TD will have other duties to perform besides standing by the pc pressing F6 every few seconds and scrolling down the page for players to view.
Regards,
Fearghal.

In the next service pack the F6 option will be automatically issued every three times the scores are retrieved from the BridgeMates. Also the screen focus will remain "as is" during this process so the scores etc on the screen will remain visible.
