I am Directing a Butler Pairs Congress at end of October using 2 sessions

First session will be 3 X 8 bd rnds

Seconded session will be 4 x 8 bd rnds

How do I transfer session 1 into session 2 so that it doesn't affect the Swiss?

I did a dummy run with only 1 session board vulnerability did not match up after set 3 when I started with set 1 for session 2 I know that I am missing something when reading instructions but I just can't seem to find what it is

Apart from this I have found ASE8 to be excellent

Kindest Regards

A session of bridge is a physical restriction.
What you are conducting is a 7 round event, each with 8 board matches.
It is a single event with effectively 7 rounds (also "rounds" could be called "sessions" as play stops after each round).
The masterpoints are awarded on a match by match basis, on the results of each round.
Outright masterpoints are only awarded after the last round.
As each round is created ([NEW] session) the board set defines the boards in play. With 8 board matches set 1 are boards 1-8, set 2 9-16, set 3 17-24 etc.
So when round 4 is created specify set 1 as the board set.
