Boards 61+

Hi Ian,
I tried to run one round of a 6 table barometer playing 6 boards numbered 61-66 using bridgemates. I got Ase8 to work but couldn't get the bridgemates to accept the movement? I now this is a bridgemate problem but maybe you might have a clue to a possible reason. Everything is fine with any other 6 boards e.g. boards 55 to 60 works perfectly. Is there a 60 board limit on bridgemates?

The highest boardnumber that can be used with Bridgemate is 63.

Is there any practical reason why you want to use such a high number of boards?

Is this 63 board limit written down somewhere? Anyway it is good to know why they did not work - although a day too late for me. In the recent Warren Buffett Cup (Ryder Cup of Bridge) between Europe and USA, we had a barometer individual with 11 rounds of 6 boards. To avoid tampering with vulnerability and dealer we used boards 1 to 66.
