teams masterpointing bug

Teams works well in ASE8. I designed a nice looking report which I will post shortly. I particularly like the ability to list total MPs & to enter scores from datum sheets.

Anyway, I have not been able to finalize the last 2 Swiss teams events I have entered, so could not generate an MP file. Release 35.

All goes well but when I hit finalise, I get
"SQL Parse error: EOF in string detected"

This has happened on 2 computers & only recently (last month) so it seems due to a recent release.

A bug has been found that is due to the "name" of the team containing a quote. For example the team name "Hughes" is OK but "O'Hare" is not. Change any of these names to remove the quote, e.g. "O Hare" and rescore before finalise.

I changed O'Connor to OConnor in all sessions & event field & rescored.
Then finalization worked.
