Running a 2 section session (4 of 5) (normally scored across the field), we ran a 7T M, and 5&1/2 T 3/4H (why not one section, you ask?. Because a pair were sat at two tables!, boards started in the 7TM, when it was realised the problem and only wanted a 3 board sit out). When we went to score-up, of course previous options were "scored across field" - that was no good. So, scored up again scoring sections seperately, BUT the report is not a valid report. Can't manage to get a section report for the Mithchell, and one for the Howell (probably because one uses a 1 winner report, other 2 winners). Need to fix this? Or, can I get the reports out correctly. Also, since this is a 5-session month, will session 5 (scored across the field we hope!) allow a cumulative score?
When you score a session the number of winners must be the same for all sections. Even when the sections are scored separately. A Mitchell with one winner is valid, even when there is no switching.
Assign outright pair numbers for all pairs and the accumulation of scores will still be valid over multiple sessions.

Yes, that worked.
The report for the Mitchell section was as one field, but with NS and EW listed, players could see their position within each field.
No masterpoints appeared, so will work on that.
Masterpoints are awarded for the session of play. Scoring the sections separately simply solves the problem of each section playing different boards, so that the comparisons are valid.
Each section is factored to the same number of tables so the scores are comparable for masterpoint purposes, and the results can be published as one field.
