Hi Ian,
Need your help again :):):) Ran our first swiss teams on bridgemates on monday and failed dismally :(:(. i think we are getting confused with the section in the manual regarding teams=matches and teams= table(can you explain this clearer than it is in the manual??
we had 18 teams and set it to teams = tables. When we ran auto start dmpro loaded 1 to 9 as A and 10 to 18 as B. Unfortunately all the A ones only worked with the B ones failing to log in. Any idea???

It sounds like you have the B tables setup as numbers 10 to 18?
They should also be 1 to 10.
So you then have A 1-10 and B 1-10.

Hi Ian,
yes we had them set up as A 1 through 18. we assumed being one section with 18 teams they should all be A and that the bridgemates being set to teams = tables would be A1 vs A10 etc. So from what you are saying then i am to assume that even though one section we must tag the second half of the field with B? Also a minor question....i assume that the players key in their player numbers when they move to the oponents table(or should they key in prior to the move?? not sure how ase8 populates the team members fields)

That is true using table number = matches.
But you say you had tables = teams so that should have worked?
Make sure you are using the latest Service pack.
BTW in SP56 in Swiss teams it is now allowed to have table numbers = team numbers with an odd number of teams
Names are entered at the starting table, ready to play.
