Hi Ian
Need you to clarify something for me.
Bridgemate advise that under no circumstances should we use "Auto start" to re start an event after a computer crash as this causes the scoring program to create a new bws file with an empty database which will eventually lead to all entered scores being erased. They advise the following
Open the BMpro control and open the session file
Open ase8 and session file
Go to scores
click bridgemate
Choose advanced
tick re-read scores
click start read
This seems contrary to 12.4 in your manual(for single event) or 8.2.5 for multiple events. But i am not sure whether they are fully au fait with any changes updates to your programme.
We have had for the third time in 5 sessions today being the lastest where the computer has frozen with the message "This programme does not support scroll bars" (which is why we are having to re-boot). bridgemate advise after some enquiries that this is not a bridgemate software problem and is more than likely a windows/ase8 issue. Is there any way you can shed light on this
