I am running a 5 session event and want the average of the best three
percentages over the 5 sessions. I have linked the names each session but sometimes it has trouble allotting the same number to the pairs , so I get a wrong reading for the percentages. Any idea what is going wrong?

It is important that the player numbers are correct on each pair.
Re do the link of all sessions and check that the event/outright pair numbers are correct for all pairs. For example score session 1, then 2 and so forth checking the outright results are correct at each stage. Then do the best 3 results.

I have rescored the sessions several times but there seems to be a glitch.
Most of the pairs keep the same number but there are a few pairs that start with a particular number but get allocated a different number on say the second session.Is there any way I can change the pair numbers so they tally.?

There must be something different about the pairs. Maybe they are on file with two different numbers.
You can always assign the event numbers maually in any session. See session names entry and use [enter][event no.] (F7).

Checked the file numbers -no discrepancy. So I changed the numbers manually as u suggested and obviously it worked. It may sound silly but I noticed that the first time the numbers didn't tally was when the pair was an initial half table.
