Two matters:
I paid $66.00 USD to pay@asecomputing.com May 2. but I have not received anything from you. (Once you have made payment you will be supplied by email with a registration ID and key) Why is this?
I also have problems using the ase8 on my laptop. I get an error message reading: "A file system error has occured File HW, func: open Status 35 key". It happends when I try to use a howell or user movement. Can anyone help me with this
Sorry, but notification from paypal got lost (in spam I guess).
You should have ID now.
The error "A file system error has occured File HW, func: open Status 35 key" means a file is missing. Check in the "\masters" directory (C:\Program Files\ASEComputing\ASE Scorer 8\masters or similar) and there should be the howell.mvt and user.mvt files. If not there then the install has failed. What release have you installed?

On my laptop I have 1.0.74.0, but I cant get it to work, though all 4 files are present. On my stationary machine I have 1.0.71.0 and it works perfect.
I have tried to copy the master file from this but with no result. Can you give me a link to the "71" so i can try it on my portable?
I say again, the installation is faulty. 71 is much the same as 74 in this area.
Try the option [movements][howell] and it also will not work if the installation is not correct.
Uninstall and install with default settings. I suspect the path to the installation directory is too long or otherwise corrupted.
error 35 means file not found or cannot be reached.
71 is still on the server e.g.

You were right. I don`t know what was wrong, but 74 works ok now. Only difference: installed it directly under C:. Thanks.
