I am seeing some intermittent error messages with a current Swiss Teams event, particularly when it comes to creating the draw for the next round.
The most common error message is "Message number 9999 was requested but is not defined in SCRMSG." Hitting the OK or close button eventually allows progress to continue (say on third attempt), but about half the time the program freezes. In this situation forcing the closure of ASE 8 and then reopening it shows a message something like "ASE 8 did not close properly last time. We will now clean up the issues and close the program so that it will operated properly when it is opened again." And so far we have been able to continue on this two steps forward, one step back process - but not with any confidence - and still with a week to go.
The GNOT event (3 weeks of 3x8bd rounds) was originally created on a version of ASE 8 from about Feb 09, but the problems have now appeared on two different computers - with one at least using the latest SP (#76).
