Running SP81 - when we replace a Section after the BM session has been initiated, following the "This will update from Round 1" dialogue box we get the following message
Access Status 3346 - Number of query values and destination fields are not the same.
Titan (BDE) Error - 2146824942
The only way we can get the new movement loaded is to Close BMPro and then select Remote Scores "Auto Start" and answer Yes to the question "Do you want to use a new Database file" following which BMpro restarts and loads the replaced Section.
Help?

I am unable to reproduce this problem.
Do you use Firebird that is separately installed?
If so go to control panel and see what release of firebird you are using.
What are the details of the new section?
Do you use the [auto start] option or the [advanced][update] option?

Firebird 1.5 Server Manager is installed on the computer.
We use the Auto Start Option - I just tried the Update Option and the same error message appears.
In this case the section is being changed from a 9 table mitchell to a 9 table howell but we had the same problem on Monday changing a 15 table mitchell to a 14 table mitchell
We are also now using BMPro version 2.0.5 - perhaps this might be the reason?

Firebird 1.5 Server Manager is installed on the computer.
I would try the version (2.1) of firebird I am using.
http://www.asecomputing.com/Downloads/Firebird-2.1.1.17910-0_Win32.exe (http://www.asecomputing.com/forums/../Downloads/Firebird-2.1.1.17910-0_Win32.exe)
Download and install over top.
The error is occuring in ASE so BMPro is not the problem.

I downloaded and installed V2.1 and it now shows as this in Control Panel.
Unfortunately the error still occurs

That eliminates firebird.
It now sounds like BMPro. Maybe it changes the database after startup.
Change the options in [advanced] and un-tick start server.
Then set up the event and auto-start (server does not start) and then change the section and update movement as before. See is you get the error.

Hi Ian
Did that - replaced section and after Event>Remote Scores> Autostart got message "do you want to use a new Database" - said yes and changed Advance to Start Server - pressed Auto start and BMPro started Ok
I suspect BMPro is the culprit
Do you have a test machine where you can upgrad to same version as us?
Regards
Neville
Please email a copy of the bws file after the first setup of an event. Also send the event file.
This is a compatibility problem with the latest BM software and will be corrected in the next ASE service pack.
