You have a number of methods to score a session. On the [score up] tab you have:
The current session using previous options
All sessions using previous options
The current session after changing the options
If the 1st session has not been scored before then 3 is automatic when you choose 1. Use 1 to re-score the current session using the options previously entered. Use 2 to re-score all the sessions in the event. Use 3 when you want to change the options used previously in this session.
In addition there is [F6] which is equivalent to using option 1. Option 1 also has an advantage when the event has several sessions all using the same scoring method. Where the session number is 2 or higher and it is being scored for the first time then option 1 (or F6) will score the current session using the options used in the previous session.
