A player cannot appear twice in any session. Where their name is repeated in the session and they receive masterpoints somewhere in the top of the list and none further down they will receive the latter value, zero.
Where a player has a different partner in two sessions the second partner is a substitute for the first partner and their outright pair number should remain the same. If a player appears in two outright partnerships (strange I know) and one pairing gets masterpoints and the other (further down the list of course) receives none, then that player is given the later value, zero.
When entering player names heed the warning that a player's name is in the list twice, do not ignore it.
