ASE and Win 7 64 bit

what is the current or proposed solution for a user that wants to run ASE8 on a Win 7 64bit machine?

What is the problem.
I have several users using ASE8 on win7.
Make sure you run the install using
"run as administrator".

Sorry for the delay, didn't subscribe to the post. Have now.

I installed with Run as Administrator and it came back with the error message:

"The program or feature "\??\C:\USERS\USER\APPDATA\LOCAL\PEMP\~EXB0000\DISK 1\SETUP.EXE" cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."

I suspect you are using an old install kit on CD.
Download the latest and install that.
