Movie error messages

During the display of a movie there can be an error messages shown.

 

1.Error, no tricks to play

2.Error, no bids to make

3.Error, movie failed

4.'Error, movie failed: (macro number).

 

Notes on error message:

 

1.'No tricks to play' generally means the macro '19 position 1st trick 1st card' has not been executed at some point. Alternatively the movie has tried to do something after the last trick has been played.

2.'No bids to make' generally means that '15 Position at first bid' has not been executed at some point. Alternatively the movie has tried to do something after the last bid has been made.

3.An invalid note or annotation number was found in the file. Typically this would be a file that has been edited outside Jill.

4.This can be a system error caused by faulty program code in the macro specified.

 

Any time an error message is shown the movie stops after the [OK] button is pressed.

 

It is advisable that all movie files be tested thoroughly before releasing them to your audience.
