Use menu item [Deals][Add new empty]. The pre-deal screen automatically appears. Close the pre-deal screen by clicking the [X] on the top right or un-check the menu item [options][pre-deal cards]. Now we have a totally clean slate, showing just the four names of the compass positions showing.

Click the menu item [options][auto define board]. Double click the 2 in the board number and change it to 1, press [enter] key. Now the board number is 1, north the dealer and none vulnerable.

Select the menu item [Deals][Edit text] and the comment editor screen appears. Note 'description' is selected on the top row, with the bullet next to it on. Type the following text, or copy and paste:

There are four compass positions at the table, one of those is deemed to be the dealer. Here we have North the dealer and the cards are dealt one at a time, starting with East, then South and lastly West. This continues until all cards are dealt and each player has 13 cards.

Click [OK].

Click the menu item [options][define movie] or F5. The define movie screen should start with nothing on the left hand side. Click the bullet 'text' in the lower right hand corner. Click the movie step '25  Show description and wait', then click the [<] button in the center. Macro 25 then appears on the left hand side.

Click the bullet 'Display' in the lower right hand corner. Scroll the right hand list until you can see '53 deal cards'. Double-click this to copy it to the movie list on the left.

Click the bullet 'navigation' in the lower right hand corner. Double-click macro '24 select next deal' on the right hand side. Now we have defined the second movie steps. Click [OK] and the 'define movie' screen closes. Save the file using menu item [file][save].

So with 'deal 2' showing in the center top combo box, click menu item [File][play movie] or F2 and the first step  '25  Show description and wait' is executed and when you press [OK]. You can see the dealing commences but the text is no longer showing, which would be desirable. If the dealing has not finished press [stop] on the top line of the main screen. Go to the center combo box and choose deal 2 or click the red right arrow to move to deal 2.

Click the menu item [options][define movie].  Click the bullet 'text' in the lower right hand corner. Click the movie step '26  Show description', then click the [<] button in the center. Macro 26 is last in the list now, and highlighted, so use the up arrow button, and click it twice to move 26 up to just after step 25. Click [OK]. Save the file. With deal 2 selected click menu item [File][play movie]. Click [OK] on the description text screen. The text is now shown while the dealing is happening. Now the [next] button is showing on the description text screen, which if it is clicked will stop the dealing and finish the movie.

Perhaps the macro '25  Show description and wait'  is not needed. Make sure the current deal is 'deal 2' and click the menu item [options][define movie]. Click the first macro, 25 so that it is highlighted and click the [Delete] button. Click [OK], save the file and [Play movie] again. That is better.

Now start the third movie.
